In Buzuruna Juzuruna’s farm, our seeds are guaranteed peasant, heirloom and open-pollinated, full of sunshine, sips of love and maintained with natural methods!

For 6 years now, we have been working to enrich our collection of several hundred heirloom and exotic varieties. They are all reproduced and selected on our farm so that farmers and gardeners in Lebanon (and elsewhere!) have the choice of being able to grow natural seeds and then reproduce them themselves.

Each seed that goes outside the farm (sold, distributed or exchanged) has at least a 75% germination rate; with a test dating from less than one year.

The periods of cultivation advised in our catalogue are relative to a Mediterranean climate with risk of frost until the end of April, and a relatively harsh winter, corresponding to our zone in the Beqaa plain. As for the Lebanese coastal regions, the growing season is often earlier, depending on the winter season. The higher the altitude, the longer you’ll have to wait to avoid frost damage to seedlings and plantations. The late Autumn period (for the Autumn crops) will be longer on the coast than on higher altitudes.

Do not hesitate to share with us the varieties of your local areas so that we might make them accessible to as many people as possible!
